JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Shift Lead/Flex Driver
Reporting to: Office Personnel/Dispatch
Classification: Permanent Full-Time/Part-Time
Probation Period: 90‐Day
SUMMARY
Communicate with drivers throughout the day to resolve routing issues and fill in as a flex driver for routes as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- Age requirement 23 years of age and older.
- Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s license.
- No more than 1 moving violation within the past 3 years.
- Pass a mandatory pre‐employment drug and alcohol screening.
- Must pass a mandatory criminal background test.
- Must pass a mandatory DOT physical.
- Must obtain a CPR and First Aid certification.
- Ability to learn phone app.
- Possess leadership skills
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must have great communication skills and be able to communicate with drivers throughout the day to resolve any issue that develops as needed.
- Transporting patients and clients utilizing company vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
- Effectively communicate with dispatch regarding schedule progress and to receive updates.
- Maintain a professional image and positive attitude regarding clients and co‐workers.
- Complete daily vehicle pre‐trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Must be able to accurately complete drivers’ log reports.
- Must be able to understand and operate GPS devices, 2-way radios, cell phones and phone app.
- Perform all duties as assigned by KBC Express.
- Must be physically able to step up and down steps, safely secure clients for transport, lift to 50 lbs.

Must be able to operate a windows computer, have a working knowledge of windows software and computer equipment. Provide transportation of patients/clients to and from facilities and their private residences in a safe, secure, and professional manner as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Age requirement 23 years of age and older.
2. Knowledgeable of computers, scanners, and software programs.
3. Must possess a valid Illinois Driver’s license.
4. No more than 1 moving violation within the past 3 years.
5. Pass a mandatory pre‐employment drug and alcohol screening.
6. Must pass a mandatory criminal background test.
7. Must pass a mandatory DOT physical.
8. Must obtain a CPR and First Aid certification.

8. Must be able to accurately complete driver log reports.
